Oliver has an unusual attachment to his shoes. I’m sure most kids have a fascination with shoes at some point. Isabelle went through a phase wear she would wear a pair of my flip flops over each shoulder as she walked around the house. But Oliver doesn’t just have an interest in any shoe. He has a special affection for these ones.
They are like a security blanket. He falls to pieces each night when we take them off for bedtime. Before he falls asleep he often calls out, “sooz…sooz…”. And the first thing he asks for in the morning? Yup, his sooz. While he’s okay to take them off occasionally for swimming, he’s not okay when they come off accidentally. He cups his shoe like a fallen solder and cries. When I put it back on his foot he always looks so grateful. He’s such a crazy, adorable little guy!

Ohh! He is so cute. He's going to be one snappy little dresser as he gets older!
I love the random (and not so random) things kids get attached to. Cute!
hehe, Ollie is so cute! he cracks me up!
Awww...so cute!! Please don't lose his precious 'sooz'!
I like those shoes, too! If they had some in my size, they'd be my security shoes too. :) What a cutie.
That's so cute!
Cute little Ollie and his shoe obsession! I love it!!
My nephew went through the same thing, and the shoe salesman told my SIL that most boys go through a shoe-security thing around that age. Crazy, eh? Oliver is too cute.
That's too funny!
At least they're the kind that go with anything... too bad he can't put them back on himself!
oh oliver! he's such a sweetie
what are you going to do when he grows out of them?
Ok, that is one of the sweetest things ever!!! Oh my word, he is adorable. "soooz...soooz" :)
